Angry Shanghai residents confront neighbourhood committee 'hoarding fresh lockdown supplies inside office'

Angry residents stormed the office of a neighbourhood committee in Shanghai after finding the officials allegedly hoarding lockdown supplies for themselves.

Footage taken on April 27 shows the furious locals screaming at the committee leaders of the Putong New Area in Shanghai. Inside the office were bundles of fresh vegetables and open boxes of bottled drinks that had not been distributed to the starving residents. Unable to contain their rage, two citizens started hurling objects because of the committee's reportedly unfair treatment.
