Police raid safehouse of suspected human traffickers in Thailand

Police raided the house of a couple suspected of human trafficking slave labour from Thailand to Cambodia.

Officers arrested Nattakorn, 28, and his partner Oijai, 34, in the house in Sa Kaeo province on February 3. The two are accused of operating a trafficking network to lure victims to work for call centers in neighbouring Cambodia. Using their website as a facade, they reportedly promised victims 'easy and well-paid jobs' as bait.
